Con el objetivo de continuar mejorando el programa, es que durante el 2018 se implementará la credencial de socio digital, la cual se podrá almacenar en cualquier dispositivo móvil.
A modo de continuar expandiendo el Club, es que se implementará la credencial de socio digital, la cual permita asociarse de manera inmediata y tener acceso a los comercios con tan solo presentar la imagen descargada en el dispositivo móvil. Con esta implementación se pretende potenciar la asociación de jóvenes residentes y usuarios de la Comuna, quienes actualmente realizan un uso intensivo de los dispositivos móviles.
Para obtener la credencial digital, la suscripción debe realizarse exclusivamente mediante el formulario hazte socio en la web, donde podrán encontrar tanto la opción de obtener credencial digital como obtener credencial física, pues la implementación de este sistema no derogará el actual medio de verificación.
El lanzamiento de este producto, se realizará mediante las Universidades asociadas al Programa Barrio Universitario, liderado por la Cordesan. A modo de otorgar un beneficio a los jóvenes que estudian en la Comuna y que se convierten en un usuario más de los servicios de ella. Este periodo de marcha blanca se realizará durante los meses de febrero y abril, para luego ampliarlo a todos los actuales y futuros socios del Club.
Con este nuevo sistema se pretende ampliar de manera significativa la Comunidad Club Barrio Santiago, así como incentivar a comercios de interés a ser parte de la Red de Beneficios del Club.
